Offline Image Gallery — Manage All Processed Images directly in the Browser
After removing backgrounds, upscaling, enhancing, or processing images with any other tool — the results are automatically saved in the Gallery. Review, search, download, or delete them at any time. All runs 100% offline in your browser.
How It Works
PixLocal utilizes IndexedDB — a built-in database inside your browser — to store the resulting images. No servers, no cloud storage. The images remain completely on your device.
Each image in the Gallery stores:
- Original image and processed image (thumbnail + full)
- Processing information: tool used, timestamp, size
- Metadata: file name, format, creation date

Automatic Saving
Every time you process an image (remove background, upscale, enhance, crop...), the result is automatically added to the Gallery. No extra actions required.
Search & Sort
- Search by file name
- Sort by creation date, name, or size
- Filter quickly to find the image you need
View Modes
- Grid view — View thumbnails in a grid for a quick overview
- List view — View a detailed list with file information
Batch Management
- Select mode — Select multiple images simultaneously
- Batch delete — Clean up your gallery quickly
- Single delete — Click on individual items to manage them
Download
Click on any image to view it full-size and download it to your device.
Applications
- Workflow Management: Process multiple images consecutively and come back to review results at any time
- Compare Results: Upscale the same image with different settings and compare them side-by-side in the Gallery
- Temporary Backup: Images are kept secure in the browser until you decide to delete them
- Resume Work: Close the tab, reopen it — your Gallery remains intact
Important Notes
- The Gallery is stored in the browser's IndexedDB — clearing browser cache/data will erase the Gallery
- Storage capacity depends on your browser quota (typically 50-100MB or more)
- Always download important images instead of relying solely on the Gallery
- Images do not sync across different browsers or devices (100% local)
