Extract Objects from Images — Separate Each Object into Its Own File

Need to separate individual products from a single photo? Or extract a specific person from a group picture? PixLocal leverages Meta's SAM (Segment Anything) technology to automatically detect and extract each object into a separate transparent PNG file.

Technology

PixLocal integrates Meta's SAM (Segment Anything Model) — running locally in your browser via ONNX Runtime WebAssembly. This includes:

• Vision Encoder — Analyzes the entire image
• Prompt Encoder + Mask Decoder — Generates precise masks for each object

All processing occurs 100% inside your browser, and the engine model is cached locally after the first load.

Features

Auto Detection

Automatically identifies all prominent objects within the image. Each object is highlighted and marked with its own bounding box.

Detection Threshold

Adjust the detection sensitivity:

• Low: Detects more objects (including smaller, dimmer ones)
• High: Retains only the most prominent, clear objects

Individual Object Extraction

Each object is isolated and converted into a transparent PNG file, ready for use in your designs.

Flexible Downloads

• Download single objects individually
• Download All (ZIP) — Pack all detected objects into a single ZIP file

How to Use

3. Wait for detection (initial load downloads the engine)
